Grow on Love

Everything in this world is an outcome of love. We make things because we love making them. Whether its a baby, a machine, a car, a camera - someone somewhere in this world is so much in love with something that he creates that. Creation is nothing but an outcome of love.

Love is what we live for & we live on. All of us thrive on love. Right from our birth we need love. Even as a baby we need love to grow. Love not only gives comfort to the baby but also secures him in this big unknown world. As we get older, we still need love to understand ourselves and others. Love makes a connection between you and people you like being with. It helps you in bonding with people and helps you grow as a person. It gives you the inclination to learn, makes you understand life, helps you explore the world, helps you create everything you love!

Love is what we grow on and grow with. In absence of love, there wouldn't be as much beauty in this world. As a person, you are blessed to grow as much love within yourself as possible. You are blessed to share that love with people. You are bestowed with powers to express that love in ways more than one. You are designed to be a body of love - growing and spreading it all along.

Give your child a world full of love - they are like little seeds that you sow today. Years later, when they grow, they would beam with love. All that love you create within your heart will only leave you feeling full of love and pure joy. Give complete love to everything you like in your life. As you do so, you'll be filled with immense happiness and boundless love. 

As you grow in life, let love be your water, your sunshine. Grow on love - its the only element you need to live happily. 

(One can argue about money being the actual requirement of life but that's not true. You can mint money using brains, but to grow love, you need to use your heart & your heart is what gives you your life!)

A Resolution, A Decision!

Time to pull down curtains on the year 2013, time to usher in the new performer. Every year plays a new act, bringing a host of emotions along. Showcasing a new scenario, the New Year gives you something new to wonder about, making you feel an emotion in a new way, giving you new realizations, new hopes, new tears, new smiles, new relief, new anxiety & above anything else, new wonderful surprises! Its an act you watch all along your life, with every new year being a new performer. Every year being a new reason to rejoice in your 'seat' as you watch your own brand new & beautiful act play in front of your eyes. Notice how, all along, as you watch, the 'Joy' to discover the next act/scene never ceases to thrill you.

New Year is like a secret gift, packaged attractively in a beautiful wrapping paper. But there's a fix. Its a huge gift, with tiny, million little gifts hidden within. You keep opening it all along, finding a new treasure for yourself. Notice how, all along, as you discover one little gift after another, the 'Joy' never leaves you. The sense of excitement, happiness & joy to find that new gift, every single day, never ceases to grow in your heart. 

New Year is like a 365 page book, all new and blank. Every single page awaits its colors. Every single page offers you a new way to play with colors, ideas, thoughts, expressions. Every page offers an opportunity! Every page gives you new 'Joy' to begin a new art.

Before you usher your very own New Year, you think of new resolutions... No matter how long your resolution list is, there's one resolution that 'Should' stay on your list, forever!

Look around and you'd find many such creations... in Nature, in your Life and on this Earth... its the tiny joys that are most precious...most difficult to recreate (you can't recreate a child's smile, an emotional and warm hug or just a small act of kindness) ...cherish small joys and you'd be surprised at the countless such moments you get every single day!

Being Thankful... A Great Virtue!

How does it feel when someone says a warm thank you? Specially when you've done something nice for someone? Just a small but a warm 'Thank You' from the heart can repay all the goodness that you've received from someone. Not only does it create a beautiful bond between the doer and the receiver, it creates much more will and desire to help in the heart of the doer!

Thank you may have been used countless times by people on this Earth, but being thankful at the right time, for the right thing makes a great difference. Now you don't need to think what all you should be thankful for. It can range from a very tiny thought or act to something really great. It can be something you expect or just received unexpectedly. It can be for someone you know or a complete stranger. It can be all that made your heart full of gratitude, love and warmth. It can be something you already have or wished for and received. 

Thankfulness is a virtue that can melt anyone's heart. It is an act of appreciating the person who has helped you, given you something or just been really good to you. It is a way of showing how much you care about someone's goodness. It is a way of telling them that they have been a wonderful part of our life, for that one moment, one day, month, years or life. It is the warmth that you yourself would like to receive from others, when you care to do something for them. It is the goodness you would like to feel, when you do something good for others.

Being thankful is not a momentary act. It is a virtue that should be practised every moment. When you see a brand new day, filled with sunshine, filled with hopes, filled with life, filled with the opportunity to do something great - be thankful! When you own a lovely family, share love and care, share wonderful moments, share joys and sorrows, share celebrations, share victories, share festivities - be thankful ! When you come across wonderful people who gave you love, cared for you, helped you, made a difference to your life, taught you something amazing, made you the person you are today, gave you that zeal to go an extra mile, gave you joy - be thankful! When you made friends who became your second family, laughed with you, stayed on with you (even if they had to move on later), taught you, showed you a new you - be thankful! When you feel healthy, bright and energetic - be thankful! When you see an awesome place, feel it, live it - be thankful!

The more thankful you will be every single day, the more goodness you would feel in your heart. And with goodness in your heart, you will spread much more goodness and beautiful warmth to those around you. And with so much goodness spreading from one to another, we can only be sure about a wonderful world that will be full of happiness, joys, gratitude, warmth and lots of love.

Peace in Every Piece of Life!

It was an article that I read on sunday, in a newspaper, that's set my thought on Peace. It was the beautiful act by a man, posting a picture with a lovely message - 'Israel loves Iran' *. While I may be the last person to comment anything about the two countries & their ongoing political strife, I am definitely not the last to know and comment about Peace!

Its very kind of life to have given me all these lovely & peaceful years in life. So I definitely do value peace. In my country too, there have been places that have never witnessed peace in a long long time. So again, I realize that peace is necessary not just for a stable individual life, but for a Nation as a whole entity.

As individuals of these times, when there is a whole new world on the internet, we all have a share in creating a beautiful world. The innumerable social sites have given a wonderful platform to all us to spread more love, peace and care amongst not just our loved ones, but even those who we don't know, haven't met or will never meet. There is a very fundamental law - The more you give, the more you get. Well, this law works perfectly well with beautiful emotions like love, care, gratitude etc. The more love you give to people in your family, the more you will receive. The more thankfulness you have for good things in life, you will certainly get  more of them. So going by this law, the more love we spread (whether online or offline), we are bound to receive more. And I guess that's exactly what happened with the guy who created this lovely message - 'Israel loves Iran'. Because people were just waiting, somewhere in their hearts, to extend that hand towards each other. To share love and care to each other. To show that Peace is as much desirable by them as is by the people on the other side. To tell that all that matters to their life is their family, love and peace.

While I can never measure of what people in both the countries would have gone through in ruffled times, the story of their new found 'love & peace' led me into visualising a wonderful dream about them. I visualised a lovely little river flowing from one country to another, that's filled with love. It does not contain water, it is made up of lovely little valentine hearts. They are softly swaying with flow and making their way from one country to another - bringing about smiles on people's faces, warmth in their hearts & of course peace in their lives. I see families hugging each other, their eyes closed in relief and a warm smile on their faces. The river slowly begins to flow along the boundary of every country, along the man-made boundaries. And gradually it finds its way into every single boundary that has been created - country-wise, state-wise, city-wise, area-wise...And slowly, the world, our Earth develops a beautiful color scheme! When viewed from the satellite, our Earth looks splendid in turquoise oceans, green landscapes & of course the red valentine hearts that are swaying around. Our Earth is full of love, compassion, peace and life!

And then I come back from my dreamy space, back to my daily chores of life, only to realise that this dream is possible. When all of us take that one step of love towards the other, extend our hand of care, share warmth with each other and give a virtual hug through our kind words, then peace will never be a distant dream. It will be what our lives, our world will be composed of. It will be what our world will grow with. It will be what our world will breathe in. I am still in that Turquoise-Green-Red dream world full of love & peace... I don't think I wish to come out of this dream, till I know that this wonderful dream itself is the reality.

Life is Beautiful...

All the World's a Stage

What a wonderful thing life is! How many of us realize that our existence in this world has a beautiful meaning. All of us have a certain place in this world, a well meant one. Did you ever think about this? Do you realize why you have gone through certain experiences, opportunities or chances while others have experienced life in a very different way. 

There are reasons that sum up our experiences or opportunities in our life. First and foremost is your own will power. There have been men and women who have had extremely strong will powers, powers to achieve on whatever goals they set for themselves. They discovered the reason of their existence into this beautiful world. They played the role they were destined for.

Second is the urge or sensitivity or perhaps the awareness of living a wonderful life. You would certainly want to do something worth your lovely life. That would entail a series of efforts towards realizing your potential. You may become a doctor and serve a million people through your practise. Or you may become an artist, filling beauty into people's lives. Or even after reaching a certain milestone, you may discover you can be something more. Like, despite being a politician, you may discover the leader within yourself, influencing and making a difference to your nation!

The examples are numerous. But what is important is valuing your life. Realizing that your life is a precious gift and should be put to a good cause. You don't have to become a celebrity overnight, or a politician... but once you do become something, you should question whether what you have become gives you satisfaction or not. Whether you are a doctor, housewife, manager, artist or performer, if you don't feel satisfied in that role, you may still be on your path to discovering yourself. Even if you are a wife, parent or brother to someone, you do play a wonderful role in the life of your loved one. If you don't feel satisfied about a certain relationship, its because there is still immense scope for improvement between you and your loved ones. You need to figure out how to keep satisfaction flowing into your relations, whether it is an explicit effort between two people or just some more adjustment from your end. 

No matter what role you play, personally or professionally, you need to feel content and satisfied about it. If there is something that is still not peaceful, then perhaps you need to discover it, a little more. If you do not feel content doing what you are doing, then perhaps you still haven't found your calling. But you are certain to find immense peace and contentment when what you do is what you love. If you choose a profession that you love, then you will never tire of it. An artist would never tire of creating new art, but if he does, then he may not play it for long in his life.

All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players:
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts...

I'd conclude that we all have a wonderful life. A life with purpose. Along our life we discover ourselves through our experiences. Our life's purpose too, is found along the way. When your role that you play (professionally or personally) gives you immense satisfaction and contentment, when you never feel bored of that role, when you feel there is a lot to do, its then that you have reached your purpose. 'You' have discovered yourself. 

That is why, one man in his time plays many parts... but there is one part that defines his life.

New Year is a new beginning: Pure & Pristine in its commencement, Innocent by nature, Ambitious & Promising in its existence. Nurture it with Love & Care, for every moment you spend this year will become a cherished part of your own Life!

As this year comes to end, our time & tides seems out of gear (like our world crumbling down under violence)...it feels so impure, insecure. But there is one thing that is & will always be pure~Your Soul. Make a pure wish from your heart for goodness in your life, your family, your friends, your country & the world. Many a times, wishes start turning true. Wish goodness. Everyday.
